when roads are so hopelessly worst helmet kaddaya is only a political stunt. People are sufficiently aware of their health and safe guard themselves. It should be left to the choice of the user. Court has been missguided by vested interests . when it is made copulsory many who cannot use it due to health reasons also suffer in the hands of police.More over foolproof helmets are not in the market which can safe guard health needs of all type of people .So it is totally absurd.
I fully agree with you. You are using scooter/bike and your views are very practical. I, being an observer, my son has a bike- bajaj pulser, I got to know the experience he recently encountered.
On a rainy day, he was driving at Pune (there, helmet using is compulsory ) He wanted to escape the overspeeding 'Tata sumo' from the opposite side. In the mean time, he applied the brake as well. It was a rainy day. The vehicle slipped and he was overthrown on the side of a foot fath. Thank god, he was saved ! Severe injuries were there, on the ankle and forehand. Because of the helmet, he was saved of his head and the face. Other wise, he would have hurt very badly ! This comment was my son's not mine !
Now,he is recovering and driving as well. He has purchased a car !
I dont know, what I am conveying is correct or not. But this was the real story ! Just think of it !!
